Eric Schloss, an 81-year-old male and a disabled cancer patient, is an artist who paints for therapy and out of a deep love for art. He resides in Bongaree on Bribie Island, Australia. Eric began his artistic journey by attending art school in Brisbane in 1955, where he studied for two years. His early training included pencil, charcoal, and watercolor painting, which he started at the age of 12 and continued until he was 15.
In 1979, Eric conducted art sessions in Munich, and more recently, in 2023, he resumed creating watercolor paintings for art shows. His talent was recognized by ARTIO Gallery in Paris, where five of his paintings were reviewed by judges and accepted for competition as an international artist. He has been invited to participate in virtual online art shows.
On Sunday, September 15, 2024, Eric’s subconscious mind created a painting titled "Mercredi des Cendres," which he entered into the Colours & Contrasts Virtual Online Art Show.
